Conditions
Booking & Payment
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. Your safari dates and accommodations will only be confirmed once payment reflects in our account.
The remaining balance is payable before or upon arrival in South Africa.
Prices quoted exclude bank fees and currency conversion charges. Please ensure the correct amount is received on our end.
Cancellations & Postponements
Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred to a future safari, subject to availability and mutual agreement.
Safari dates can be rescheduled with no penalty if notice is given more than 90 days before the original booking.
No-shows or cancellations within 60 days of the safari start date may result in full payment forfeiture.
Trophy Fees & Permits
Trophy fees are applicable per animal and will be charged whether the animal is wounded or successfully harvested.
Certain species require permits (e.g., TOPS, CITES). These will be secured in advance by Highlands Hunting Safaris.
All necessary documentation will be provided to the client to facilitate the export of trophies.
Firearms & Equipment
Hunters may bring their own rifles or request to rent one from Highlands Hunting Safaris (limited availability).
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure all firearm paperwork is completed prior to travel. We will assist as needed.
Clients are advised to bring appropriate clothing and gear; a packing list will be shared upon booking confirmation.
Ethical Conduct
We operate strictly under fair-chase and ethical hunting principles.
We reserve the right to terminate the safari of any client who displays dangerous, disrespectful, or unethical behavior.
Liability
Participation in a hunting safari involves inherent risks. While we take all precautions to ensure your safety, Highlands Hunting Safaris and its affiliates are not liable for personal injury, property damage, or any loss resulting from participation in activities on or off the hunting grounds.
